Will your student be an athlete at Jasper next school year? Do you have friends who are parents of these children? Mark your calendar and spread the word to other parents of current and future Jasper Athletes!

The Jasper Athletic Booster Club is hosting a meeting to help interested parents learn about Jasper Athletics and how to become involved in the Jasper Athletic Booster Club on Tuesday, May 11th at Jasper in Room 1100 at 7:00 pm.

Opportunities to help cheer on and support Jasper Athletes also will be discussed. Booster Club Officers will be selected at this meeting. There are Booster Club board openings for President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Spirit Wear, Hospitality and various committees.

The Jasper Jaguar Booster Club helps parents and other fans stay up to date with what’s happening with our teams and to cheer them.

With the first Wildcats baseball game just two months away, Plano Baseball Booster Club invites members and Jasper parents of children interested in the Plano Baseball prograam to its last meeting of the year this Thursday, December 10 at 6:30 PM in the PSHS Building B Lecture Hall.

Jasper Freshman Finish Season With Games Against Shepton Thursday

Jasper Jag’s Freshman wrap up the 2009 Football Season with a game against Shepton this Thursday, November 5th at Clark West. Clark West is the west auxiliary field just southwest of Clark Stadium. Kick-off for B Team is 5:30 and A Team is 7:00 p.m. Come cheer on your favorite Freshmen football players then celebrate the season end by joining in the fun at the 2009 Football Banquet and Silent Auction Saturday night in the Jasper Cafeteria beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Celebrate Jasper Jag’s Football 2010 Season At Football Banquet & Silent Auction November 7!

Jasper Football players, boosters and fans are reminded to celebrate the end of the 2010 Jasper Jag’s Football Season by joining the fun at the November 7th Football Banquet & Silent Auction this Saturday, November 7 in the Jasper Cafeteria. Dinner is scheduled to begin around 7:00 p.m. The doors open and Silent Aution will begin at 6:30 p.m.

The theme is Country Western. Plan to wear your denim, boots and hats!

Plan to come at 6:30 p.m. to bid on items in the Silent Auction, take your picture at the “picture spot” and find a table. The Silent Auction includes items in all price ranges so everyone will have a chance to bid. To bid, simply write down your bid; if someone wants to bid more, they write their bid underneath your bid. The goal is to be the highest bidder at the time the item closes. The item’s bidding sheets will close at various unknown times during the banquet. If you win an item you will need to pay your bid amount (cash and checks will be accepted). All proceeds will benefit Jasper Jaguar Athletics. We have spirit wear, jewelry, golf games, Dallas Stars tickets, Dallas Symphony tickets, Rough Rider Founder tickets, gift certificates galore, baskets, a homemade Jasper quilt, two homemade Jasper Pillows, Coach Nutall’s homemade candy and many other great items. Please bid and support Jasper Athletics.

There will also be a “picture spot” to take a family picture so bring your camera! We currently do not have a photographer so we will have to help each other out and trade cameras. If you are a photographer who would be willing to take all the pictures at the Banquet, Kathy Warman encourages you to contact her. The Booster Club would be happy to work with you to arrange for Wal-Greens to develop them during the banquet and have them available after the banquet.
